January 20, 2020 – The Equity Group’s President, Loren Mortman, recently commented on the theme of company-sponsored research in a January 24th article published in IR Magazine. The link to the story is included here: NIRI Proposes Guidance on Company-Sponsored Research.
In the article, Mortman noted, "Issuers should take into account the research firm's reputation within the investment community, the platforms on which the research is available and the ease of investor access and whether they can provide institutional sales and corporate access support. These factors, in addition to cost - which can vary widely - are the most important differentiators of company-sponsored research."
